10 Step Korean Skincare Using Only elf Products

10 Step Korean Skincare Using Only elf Products

If you know me, you know I love following Skincare trends. One trend that I have been incorporating for the last year is the 10 Step Korean Skincare routine. I already did a blogpost using only Neutrogena products and The Ordinary, two brands I SWEAR by, so I decided why not do one on the e.l.f skincare line? You can find more information on what the 10 Step Korean routine actually is in my Neutrogena post, so I’ll go ahead and just jump into it!

Before we get started, here are some skin care tips to keep in mind!

  • Cleanse for approximately 60 seconds in circular motions. Trust me, a whole minute makes a difference!
  • You can layer on products back to back, there is no evidence that suggests waiting 5 minutes between products increases absorption rates.
  • Pat your products in, don’t rub!

Step 1: Cleanser – e.l.f Daily Face Cleanser

Step 2: Toner – e.l.f.Keep Your Balance Toner

Step 3: Essence – e.l.f Hydrating Water Essence

Step 6: Moisturizer – e.l.f. Daily Hydration Moisturizer

This Sunscreen is perfect for any makeup lover as it doubles as a primer!

Exfoliating everyday can be harsh on your skin, so use this exfoliant 2-3 times a week!

Step 3: Toner – e.l.f.Keep Your Balance Toner

Use the same toner as you did in the morning. Remember to use a cotton pad and use upwards strokes to avoid wrinkles!

Step 4: Essence – e.l.f Hydrating Water Essence

Same as the morning!

Step 5: Ampoule & Serum – e.l.f Hydrating Serum

At night I like to add a little more hydration than I do during the day.

Step 6: Sheet Mask – Combo Pack Sheet Essence

Okay YES I know I’m cheating here BUT e.l.f’s sheet masks are $5 a pack. FIVE DOLLARS A PACK. FIVE DOLLARS FOR ONE. ONE sheet mask. Trust me, paying more than a dollar for a sheet mask is a scam. So I’m going to help you save money by linking you these Dermal sheet masks I swear by. This is by far my favorite part of this routine. I slap one of these on and lay in bed listening to music or Youtube videos for 20 minutes. It’s like a spa night every night (yes I use these every night.)

Step 7 – Retinoid

If you use a retinoid, this would be the part you apply it at!

Step 8: Moisturizer – e.l.f. Hello Hydration face Moisture Cream

Step 9: Night Cream – e.l.f Skincare Nourishing Night Cream

Since the moisturizer we used in the morning was lightweight, I love using a heavier cream at night.

That’s it! I love writing up these kinds of guides because I know that people get confused when to apply products following this routine so I thought I’d make it easier; as well as affordable. I kept it simple and didn’t go into as much detail I did in my Neutrogena post, so you can always check that out if you want more info! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed. 🙂
