Alright, I have to admit. They got me. I never thought I would actually give into peer pressure (the peer pressure = seeing tik tok videos how the glazing milk changed their life).
Whenever I saw someone talking about one of these products the words that were always in the same sentence were “glass skin.” And that is what got me to try it out. Read on for my reviews below!
Rhode Glazing Milk
On their website, the glazing milk is described as A nutrient-rich, lightweight essence that boosts barrier function and provides immediate, luminous hydration.
And honestly? Yes. The first time I put this on I was shocked. My skin was GLOWING. I used a cleanser and then immediately this and the glass skin was glass skinning.

The key ingredients:
CERAMIDE TRIO — boosts skin’s barrier function for healthy-looking skin
BETA-GLUCAN — polysaccharides that help lock in moisture + calm skin
MAGNESIUM, ZINC + COPPER BLEND — defends against free radicals for plump, healthy-looking skin
—-
Pros:
- Super lightweight. Definitely for any type of skin from combo to dry to oily.
- Smells super fresh
Cons:
- The only real con is that I don’t like the bottle it’s in. When dispensing it can get messy
And for that I give it a 9/10!
Rhode Barrier Butter
This cream is described as An intensive moisture balm for deep hydration overnight.
I’m not going to lie, I love this stuff. It’s the perfect thick cream to use as the last step of your skincare routine.
Pros:
- Thick heavy cream that locks in all of your skincare
- A tiny bit goes a long way. I know this bottle will last me for months
Cons:
- I might just have beef with Rhode containers, but I’m not the biggest fan of the dispensing. I wish more bottles would have a flip open cap that stays on
8/10 I don’t know if I’ll repurchase, but we’ll see in 6 months when I run out!
